Job summary

SAIC seeks a skilled Citrix Engineer to support NIWC LANT CLOUD CITI division, handling CVAD deployments, Citrix NetScaler management, and Windows server administration in secure DoD environments.

The role requires active Secret (Top Secret obtainable) clearance and proximity to Charleston, SC, New Orleans, LA, Norfolk, VA, or Tampa, FL; on-call rotations are included. On-site work mostly, with potential for limited remote support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with nine+ years of relevant experience; four additional years in lieu of degree.
• Strong knowledge of CVAD, Citrix NetScaler, and Windows Server technologies.
• Expertise in Active Directory, Group Policy, PowerShell, and DNS management.
• Experience implementing DISA STIGs and DoD security standards.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow and Jira for ticketing and changes.

Responsibilities

• Build, configure, and deploy Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD) systems.
• Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot CVAD components on Windows Server 2012–2022.
• Manage Citrix NetScalers (physical and virtual) for performance and availability.
• Apply DISA STIGs; patch and update Citrix/Windows via WSUS and PowerShell.
• Maintain and secure Windows servers per DoD/DISA standards.
• Troubleshoot connectivity and support customer application needs.
• Collaborate with virtualization and storage teams to optimize systems.
• Document configurations and processes in SharePoint; use ServiceNow/Jira for incidents.
• Provide technical consulting and propose system improvements; use Agile methods.
