IPT Associates (IPTA) in Radford, VA is seeking a senior Citrix administrator to support a growing Windows Server environment. You will manage, deploy, troubleshoot, and support servers for multiple customers.

Required are 5+ years as Windows admin with Citrix stack, Security+ or higher certs, and active clearance. You will write procedures, monitor security, and contribute to datacenter operations.

• CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certs required or ability to obtain within 30 days

• 3+ years automating tasks with PowerShell
• 3+ years installing, configuring, maintaining, troubleshooting IIS/Apache and similar
• 3+ years in complex networking with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SMTP, SNMP

Position Summary

You will be the senior Citrix administrator supporting an established Windows team in a mixed, growing Windows Server environment. You will manage, maintain, deploy, troubleshoot, and support servers for several customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and implement new Citrix and system hardware and software
• Write and maintain technical instructions, operating procedures, and policies
• Monitor and tune performance, harden servers, and report on security and operational status
• Recommend improvements, manage integrations, and write utilization reports
• Support the lifecycle of datacenter equipment, including firmware version control and preventive maintenance

Required Qualifications

• CompTIA Security+
• Computing environment certification (e.g., MCSE, Server+, CCNA, Red Hat, Palo Alto), or the ability to get one within 30 days of starting
• Active Security Clearance Required
• Experience in computer science or IT
• 5+ years as a Windows systems administrator or engineer designing, installing, and maintaining Citrix XenApp, NetScaler Gateway, Citrix StoreFront, and Citrix Director
• 3+ years automating tasks with PowerShell
• 3+ years installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting complex applications and websites (IIS, Apache, etc.)
• 3+ years in complex networking environments, with senior-level knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SMTP, and SNMP
• Strong interpersonal skills and a team-player attitude

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience
• 3+ years supporting cybersecurity patch management, STIGs, SRGs, RMF, SCA-V, and CORA
• 3+ years managing enterprise Active Directory
• 3+ years creating and maintaining complex Microsoft Group Policy setups
• 3+ years creating and following SOPs for repeatable processes, disaster recovery, and problem resolution
• 3+ years configuring and maintaining DNS, SFTP, SMTP, and NTP

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Certifications

CompTIA Security+. Computing environment certification.
