Job summary

Gotham Technology Group in Midtown, New York, NY Is seeking a Network Operations Engineer to lead day-to-day management of the firm's multi-site network infrastructure. You will maintain, upgrade, and optimize the network while collaborating with Information Security, Systems, and Helpdesk teams.

The role requires hands-on Cisco expertise, proficiency with SolarWinds and Wireshark, and knowledge of routing, switching, ACLs, VXLAN, and VoIP.

Qualifications

Hands-on Cisco networking experience in multi-site environments.
Experience with network management and monitoring tools.
Ability to collaborate with Security, Systems, and Helpdesk teams.
Strong documentation and verbal/written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Monitor and maintain the firm's network infrastructure to ensure it remains secure, reliable, and aligned with industry best practices.
Collaborate with team leads across departments to identify opportunities to streamline current support and provisioning processes.
Create and maintain clear, accurate documentation for both new and existing network systems.
Foster information and knowledge sharing between IT teams to improve cross-training and strengthen overall team capability.
Work closely with the InfoSec team on all network-based security initiatives.
