Job summary

DC Water seeks a Senior Program Manager for CIP Project Delivery to oversee contract management, technical direction, and lifecycle project delivery across AE, Construction, and CPD contracts. This role may serve as COTR for CIP projects and will coordinate with engineering teams to ensure compliance with drawings, specs, and standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of progressive engineering experience related to contract management and CIP planning, design, construction projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Mechanical/Structural/Electrical Engineering from ABET-accredited curriculum or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide contract management oversight as COTR for AE, Construction, and CPD contracts.
• Monitor design and construction schedules, budgets, and invoicing; take corrective actions when necessary.
• Manage consultant/contractor performance and prepare contract modifications (Change Orders).
• Lead project management for controls: planning, status reporting, cost, quality, and schedule.
