Job summary

DC Water, serving DC and surrounding counties, seeks a Manager, Capital Delivery to lead contract oversight and CIP project management. The role supervises staff, coordinates design and construction, and ensures schedule and budget adherence.

The position requires DC PE licensure or eligibility, extensive project management experience, and strong collaboration across internal and external teams. Hybrid work is offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of progressive engineering experience in contract management, CIP planning, and large multi-disciplinary projects.
• Experience with design, construction, budgets, schedules, and resource management.
• PDB/CMAR knowledge and familiarity with codes, standards, and engineering software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee contract oversight, management, and administration for AE, Construction, and CPD contracts.
• Lead project management staff and ensure on-demand operations support.
• Monitor schedules, budgets, purchase orders, and invoicing; take corrective actions as needed.
• Prepare contract modifications and performance evaluations.
• Provide technical direction and ensure compliance with DC Water standards.
