Job summary

The Cigna Group is seeking an Infrastructure Engineering Senior Advisor with deep IBM CICS expertise to lead design, engineering, and evolution of enterprise mainframe solutions. You will guide large-scale CICS initiatives, ensure highly available environments, and partner with development teams for secure, reliable deliveries.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in CICS systems programming, strong CICSPlex experience, and hands-on z/OS/DB2/MQ expertise.

Qualifications

10+ years of CICS Systems Programming in enterprise mainframes.
Advanced knowledge of CICS architecture, internals, administration, and performance tuning.
Strong experience with CICSPlex environments.

Responsibilities

Lead design, engineering, and implementation of complex CICS infrastructure solutions.
Provide technical leadership for large-scale mainframe initiatives across teams.
Build, support, and improve highly available CICS environments enterprise-wide.
Collaborate with development and infrastructure to deliver scalable, secure, reliable solutions.
Evaluate emerging technologies to improve performance, resiliency, and efficiency.
Diagnose complex issues, determine root causes, and implement long-term fixes.
Install, configure, maintain, and optimize CICS and related system software.
