Job summary

The Cigna Group is seeking an Infrastructure Engineering Senior Advisor with deep IBM CICS expertise to lead design and evolution of complex mainframe solutions. You will guide large-scale CICSPlex deployments, optimize CICS environments, and partner with dev teams to deliver secure, reliable systems.

Qualifications

10+ years of CICS Systems Programming experience in enterprise mainframe environments.
Advanced knowledge of CICS architecture, internals, administration, and performance tuning.
Strong experience supporting and managing CICSPlex environments.

Responsibilities

Lead the design, engineering, and implementation of complex CICS infrastructure solutions that support enterprise business objectives.
Provide technical leadership for large-scale mainframe initiatives, guiding projects from strategy through execution.
Build, support, and continuously improve highly available CICS environments across the enterprise.
Partner with application development teams and infrastructure stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable solutions.
Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative approaches that improve performance, resiliency, and operational efficiency.
Diagnose complex infrastructure and application issues, identify root causes, and implement effective long‑term solutions.
Install, configure, maintain, and optimize CICS and associated system software products.
