Job summary

PNC Financial Services Group is seeking a LOB Risk Expert for the Corporate & Institutional Banking Risk organization, based in Pittsburgh, Dallas or Cleveland. You will lead risk management strategies and oversee program execution across lines of business to ensure regulatory alignment and stability.

As a senior risk advocate, you will collaborate with Compliance, Credit, Legal and Audit, monitor risk indicators, and guide cross-functional teams to strengthen internal controls and governance

Qualifications

• Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree.
• Higher level education such as a Masters degree, PhD, or certifications is desirable.
• Industry relevant experience is typically 8+ years.
• Specific certifications are often required.
• In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Establishes the line of business risk management strategies and programs, maintains and enhances existing programs to support the business in managing risk while meeting regulatory expectations.
• Oversees the timely and proper execution of the risk management program within and across the lines of business. Owns process and/or regulatory relationship liason.
• Monitors changes in internal and external factors and identifies emerging risks.
• Provides risk expertise while working with the businesses and other risk partners (e.g., Compliance, Credit, Legal, Audit).
• Leads and engages cross functional teams and develops internal capabilities.
