Job summary

PNC is seeking a LOB Risk Expert to oversee risk strategies and manage a risk program across lines of business. You will serve as a senior risk advocate, partnering with Compliance, Legal, Audit and others to ensure regulatory alignment and program effectiveness.

You will lead cross-functional efforts, drive proactive risk identification, and help build internal capabilities while aligning with PNC’s risk framework and governance expectations. This role is based in one of several U.S. locations.

Qualifications

• University/college degree required; higher level education such as a Masters, PhD, or certifications desirable.
• Industry relevant experience typically 8+ years.
• Specific certifications are often required.

Responsibilities

• Establishes line of business risk strategies and programs; acts as senior risk advocate and regulatory liaison.
• Maintains and enhances programs to manage risk while meeting regulatory expectations.
• Oversees timely execution of risk programs across lines of business; owns processes and liaison.
• Provides risk expertise with risk partners; monitors and identifies emerging risks.
• Leads cross-functional teams and develops internal capabilities.
