Job summary

CJ Schwan’s in Pasadena, TX, seeks a Sr. Continuous Improvement Engineer to lead process improvement initiatives, apply Lean Six Sigma, and drive capacity and productivity gains from idea to implementation.

The base salary ranges from $83,000 to $139,000 per year with a 15% incentive, plus a Total Rewards package including health benefits and retirement offerings. You will develop proposals, evaluate ROI, facilitate cross-functional teams, and report outcomes aligned to business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field; Lean / Six Sigma certification preferred.
• 5+ years of process engineering or manufacturing experience (or Master’s with 1-2 years in process improvement).
• Understanding of industrial process and control systems.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Lead process improvement initiatives to identify and eliminate waste.
• Support development and validation of new capacity and processes.
• Develop ROI proposals for projects.
• Apply statistical analysis to ensure customer requirements while optimizing operations.
• Facilitate cross-functional improvement teams and projects.
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement lean solutions.
• Develop strategies to improve safety, quality, and productivity.
• Perform analytics and reporting to support initiatives.
• Define project requirements, milestones, and actions.
