Job summary

i3 is seeking Software Engineers and Principal Software Engineers to join our team in Huntsville, Alabama.

You will support the Integrated Battle Command System (IBCS) System Team - a specialized Agile team responsible for enabling and sustaining the Agile development environment, including development and maintenance of the Continuous Delivery Pipeline for mission-critical command and control (C2) software.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in STEM and 2+ years experience, or Master's degree with 0 years experience.
Bachelor's with 5+ years for Principal role, or PhD with 0 years.
CI/CD concepts and implementation experience are required.
Linux-based development environments experience.
Experience with Git/GitLab for source control.

Responsibilities

Support Agile development environment and CD Pipeline for multiple software baselines.
Collaborate cross-functionally with software, systems, DevOps, networking, cybersecurity and infra teams.
Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Apply strong problem-solving in ambiguous situations with shifting requirements.
Coordinate work across teams without direct line authority.
Apply DevOps concepts to support software delivery pipelines.
Identify roadblocks and drive issues to closure.
Work in fast-paced environment with hands-on tasks and coordination.
Maintain technical credibility across disciplines.
Operate in a mix of hands-on and coordination tasks.
