Job summary

Wilderness Way is seeking a Registered Manager for two Ofsted-registered children’s homes. You will lead care teams, ensure 2:1 relationship-based care, and implement a structured rota while working with an Operational Manager and HRBP support to drive high standards of care.

Applicants should have at least 2 years in children’s residential care or related fields, with a Level 5 qualification or willingness to pursue it, and hold a UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in children’s residential care, social work, or secure care within the last 5 years.
• Strong understanding of SCCIF and care regulations.
• Must hold or be willing to work towards Level 5 qualification.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Manage two Ofsted-registered solo homes with individual registrations.
• Provide 2:1 relationship based care.
• Oversee set shifts and a full year’s rota.
• Lead with day-to-day supervision alongside an Operational Manager and HRBP support.
