Job summary

DIVISION OF CHILD AND FAMILY SERVICES in Elko, NV is seeking a Social Worker III to provide comprehensive child welfare services. The role requires assessing safety threats, developing family-centered case plans, and ensuring medical, mental health, and educational needs are met for children.

Qualifications

• Active Nevada Social Work license or current licensure in process
• Experience in child protective services, foster care, or adoption settings preferred
• Strong assessment, documentation and case planning skills

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced case management for child welfare cases in Elko, focusing on safety and well-being of children and families
• Develop, implement, and monitor case plans aligned with policy and practice guidelines
• Coordinate MDT meetings, prepare court reports and social summaries
• Conduct home visits and crisis interventions to support at-risk clients
• Maintain accurate case records and ensure compliance with regulations
