Job summary
Elliot Health System in Manchester, NH seeks a Coordinator Child Life Specialist – Pediatrics to lead the Child Life Program across the Elliot Health System. You will supervise staff, coordinate internships and volunteers, and collaborate with medical teams to support pediatric patients and families.
Responsibilities include program development, grant and donor relations, and education of staff on psychosocial needs of children.
Qualifications
- Child Life Specialist Credential required
- Completion of a 600-hour Child Life internship
- 3–5 years experience with hospitalized/healthcare children
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
Responsibilities
- Coordinate, implement and evaluate Child Life services across the health system
- Orient, train and supervise Child Life staff
- Lead program development and ensure ACLP standards
- Collaborate with medical staff, families and community
- Oversee internships and volunteer programs
- Engage with foundation, marketing and grant activities
- Manage program budgets and resources
- Provide direct patient care and psychosocial support to children and families
