Job summary

RailPros in Chicago is seeking a Railroad Bridge Engineering Manager to build and lead a bridge group, applying rigorous engineering practices across railroad structural projects.

You will act as the technical specialist, guide a team, stay abreast of industry developments, and coordinate assignments while addressing complex conditions and business needs. A PE/SE in Illinois and ABET-accredited degree are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from ABET/EAC accredited program.
• 10+ years prior experience.
• Master’s degree or equivalent and professional licensure (PE/SE) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a technical railroad structures discipline team for the Chicago office.
• Serve as the technical specialist for the organization in railroad structural projects.
• Keep informed of new developments and requirements affecting the organization.
• Interpret, organize, execute, and coordinate assignment.
• Other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
