Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an accredited school.
• 7-10 years of related experience.
• IL or IN Professional Engineer license (PE); SE preferred.
• Experience with Illinois DOT and/or Illinois Tollway projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform preliminary and final design for highway and pedestrian bridge.
• Supervision of other engineers and CADD work.
• Complete projects while meeting quality standards and budget.
• Coordinate bridge inspections and report preparation.

Good technical skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work well in a team environment

Working knowledge of structural analysis software

Education
