Job summary

ARDEX Americas is seeking an experienced Senior Chemist with adhesive and construction products expertise to join our Research & Development team at 400 ARDEX Park Drive, Center Township, PA.

This role leads new product development from concept through commercialization, mentors technicians, and collaborates with global teams to deliver innovative, cost-competitive products for the construction industry.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years of formulation and product development experience.
• Strong experience with adhesive technologies, including solvent-based contact adhesives and construction adhesive systems.
• Proven track record of successful product development and commercialization.
• Ability to travel occasionally and legally work in the United States.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead New Product Development from concept to commercialization.
• Drive product improvement and cost optimization initiatives.
• Support manufacturing scale-up activities and field evaluations.
• Design and oversee laboratory and field testing programs.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to laboratory technicians and junior chemists.
• Collaborate with external laboratories, suppliers, and industry organizations.
