Job summary

ARDEX Americas is seeking a Senior Chemist for adhesives and construction products in Center Township, PA. This on-site role focuses on leading new product development, lab and field testing, and cross‑functional collaboration to bring advanced formulations to market.

The successful candidate will lead projects, mentor technicians, and work with manufacturing and external laboratories to drive product quality and innovation. A PhD or equivalent with 5+ years industrial experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Chemistry or equivalent with 5+ years industrial experience.
• Experience with adhesive technologies including waterborne and solvent-based systems.
• Willingness to travel occasionally and work on-site in Center Township, PA.

Responsibilities

• Lead New Product Development from concept through commercialization.
• Design and oversee laboratory and field testing programs; analyze results and make recommendations.
• Mentor laboratory technicians and junior chemists; lead project reviews and cross‑functional collaboration.
• Support manufacturing scale-up activities, quality control, and supplier collaboration.
• Maintain and document technical specifications, methods, and reports.
