Job summary

Marketech International Corporation USA seeks an Advanced Process Chemical Design & Permit Engineer for a TSMC project to coordinate chemical system construction documentation, permit packages, AHJ submissions, plan check responses, and design revisions for large-scale semiconductor facilities.

The role collaborates with engineering, construction teams, vendors, and regulatory authorities to ensure compliant, efficient project execution and construction-ready packages.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in design engineering, permitting, construction coordination, project engineering, chemical systems, facility engineering, or a related field.
• Experience preparing, reviewing, or coordinating engineering drawings, construction documents, permit packages, technical submittals, or plan check responses.
• Familiarity with local permitting processes, AHJ coordination, plan check comments, permit tracking, and construction documentation.
• Working knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards such as IBC, IFC, NEC, NFPA, or similar.
• Experience or exposure to chemical systems, utility systems, MEP systems, industrial infrastructure, or facility construction packages.
• Proficiency with design and document review tools such as AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Revit, or similar software.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to track multiple permits, drawings, revisions, comments, and project deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, construction, contractors, clients, vendors, and regulatory authorities.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced project environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate chemical systems and engineering coordination across design, procurement, and construction teams.
• Prepare, review, and update engineering drawings, layouts, and construction documents related to chemical and utility systems.
• Support design development for chemical delivery and process support systems.
• Review design packages for accuracy, constructability, and permit readiness.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to align technical requirements, schedules, and deliverables.
• Assist with markup, revisions, RFIs, and coordination between engineering and field teams.
• Maintain organized design documentation and permit closeout records.
• Manage permit applications, plan check submissions, and AHJ interactions.
