Job summary

Micron Technology is seeking an experienced Chemical Systems Engineer for the US construction engineering team to oversee third‑party design of chemical delivery and handling systems for large‑scale semiconductor projects, including Clay, NY.

Responsibilities include coordinating with external teams, ensuring BIM integration with Revit/Navisworks, and validating safety and regulatory compliance across designs and commissioning activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in chemical systems engineering.
• Proficiency in reviewing engineering deliverables using AutoCAD, Revit, or Navisworks.

Responsibilities

• Manage third-party design firms in developing chemical delivery and handling systems.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, procurement, finance, and design teams to align with schedules.
• Ensure BIM integration with facility systems using Revit and Navisworks.
• Review capacity plans and validate assumptions; oversee safety compliance.
• Support commissioning and testing; review performance and monitor progress.
• Follow safety and environmental procedures and explore AI-enabled process improvements.
