Job summary

LANXESS is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to oversee capital and non-capital projects across the chemical manufacturing platform in New Jersey. You will manage project life cycles from concept through commissioning, ensure adherence to PSM and EHS standards, and drive cost-effective delivery while coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering required.
• Minimum 10 years of Project Engineering experience in chemical manufacturing.
• Must independently manage small to large capital projects.

• Oversee and manage capital and non-capital improvement projects.
• Lead project phases: concept development, design, cost estimate, plan, justification, and proposals.
• Develop annual capital budget/plan and report progress vs. plan.
