Job summary
LANXESS Deutschland GmbH is seeking a senior leader to manage all manufacturing at the East Hanover site, including blending, chemical plant operations, grease manufacturing, and packaging. You will supervise production, drive schedules, and mentor supervisors and shift leads while ensuring safety and cost efficiency.
The role requires a BS in Engineering (chemical preferred), 10+ years of manufacturing experience, and strong leadership with a focus on lean processes and strategic planning.
Qualifications
- Minimum B.S. degree in Engineering (Chemical preferred).
- 10+ years of professional experience in manufacturing/operations.
- Demonstrated leadership experience.
- Experience with project management.
- Senior management and strategic planning experience preferred.
- Lean manufacturing experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all manufacturing at East Hanover site including shipping/receiving.
- Lead production operations across multiple shifts and areas.
- Direct selection, training, performance reviews, and safety.
- Develop and meet production schedules for productivity and cost goals.
- Coach production supervision and lead tactical execution of plans.
- Improve production flow and methods; ensure safety leadership.
