Placements24 seeks a highly skilled Chemical Process Specialist for our client in Randburg, Gauteng. You will provide expert support, analyze performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and develop innovative solutions to improve efficiency and product quality.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
7+ years of experience as a process engineer or specialist in chemicals.
In-depth knowledge of kinetics, thermodynamics and separation technologies.
Proven expertise in process simulation, data analysis and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Provide expert technical guidance on operation, optimization and troubleshooting of complex chemical processes.
Analyze process data to identify trends, inefficiencies and improvement opportunities with data-driven recommendations.
Lead root cause analysis investigations for process upsets and implement corrective actions.
Develop and update process documentation including P&IDs, SOPs and technical specifications.
Stay abreast of new technologies and methodologies and recommend adoption where appropriate.
Support process safety initiatives and ensure compliance with regulations in Randburg area.
