The role requires a BS in Chemical Engineering, 10 years in chemical process engineering, and strong communication. You will mentor peers, lead plant trials, and manage capital projects while collaborating with multiple groups.

Qualifications

• BS in Chemical Engineering required.
• Minimum 10 years of chemical process engineering experience.
• Experience in specialty chemical manufacturing preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and data analysis skills.
• Ability to manage capital projects and team coordination.

Responsibilities

• Define optimal process operation and SOPs.
• Optimize plant operations for safety, quality and cost.
• Troubleshoot long-term process problems.
• Mentor other engineers at site and in the engineering group.
• Conduct plant trials to identify areas for improvement.
• Use process simulation software for design and troubleshooting.
• Develop and implement production methods improving cost, quality and safety.
• Manage capital projects including equipment procurement and commissioning.
• Provide training on equipment and products for manufacturing personnel.
• Support Process Hazard Analyses and Pre-Startup Safety Reviews.
• Ensure compliance with Responsible Care Management System.
