Job summary

Jones-Harrison Senior Living in Minneapolis is seeking a Senior Chef to ensure meals meet regulations and resident expectations. Qualifications

• 1 year of chef/kitchen experience.
• Food Protection Manager Certification issued within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Supports culinary operations by assisting with health inspections and menu planning.
• Prepare and cook food to specified temperatures using standardized recipes.
• Assemble meals and baked goods within designated timeframes and assist events.
• Prepare texturized diets following IDDSI standards.
• Supervise kitchen staff in the supervisor’s absence and relay resident feedback.
• Oversee kitchen operations in the Culinary Director’s absence, schedule call-ins, and verify orders.

Education

Associate of Arts In Food Service or Vocational/Technical Training

Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM) issued by the State of MN
