Job summary

Goken seeks a Design Release Engineer for Chassis Suspension to lead design from concept to production across vehicle programs. You will collaborate with design, validation, procurement and manufacturing teams to ensure robust releases and timely launches.

Responsibilities include maturing components through production, managing cost, weight, performance and quality targets, and delivering 3D CAD drawings and documentation with CATIA V5/V6, DFMEA, and GD&T practices. Travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; 10+ years in chassis development.
• 10+ years of chassis product development experience.
• 3+ years developing suspension arms, linkages, ball joints, air suspension parts, hydraulic lines.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Knowledge of DFMEA and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Design and release vehicle system components from concept to production.
• Develop components through production.
• Coordinate designs with purchasing, suppliers, testing, and manufacturing.
• Lead design reviews and provide technical system analysis.
• Support cost reduction and product improvements for prototype and production builds.
• Stay up-to-date with new technology and travel as required.
