Job summary

Goken America is seeking a Senior Design Release Engineer to lead the design from concept through production, release, and launch of vehicle system components and subsystems for multiple programs. You will build strong partnerships with internal teams responsible for design, validation, procurement, and manufacturing of the vehicle.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 10+ years in chassis development, hands‑on experience with suspension components, CATIA V5/V6 CAD, DFMEA

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 10+ years of relevant experience.
• 10+ years of experience in chassis product development.
• Experience with suspension components such as arms, linkages, ball joints, air/hydraulic suspension parts.
• Strong and crisp communication.
• Knowledge of DFMEA and GD&T.
• CATIA V5/V6 CAD modelling and drawings creation.

Responsibilities

• Design and release vehicle system components from concept to production.
• Develop components from concept through production.
• Set targets for cost, weight, performance, and quality.
• Coordinate with purchasing, suppliers, testing, manufacturing, and other subsystems.
• Ensure quality of 3D CAD drawings and documentation.
• Provide technical support and root-cause analysis for development issues.
• Lead design reviews and cross-functional collaboration.
• Implement cost reduction and product improvements; support prototype and production builds.
• Stay up-to-date with new technologies and products.
• Travel as required.
