Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing is required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
• Current Iowa RN license; IL license if working in IL may be required.
• BLS is required within three months of hire.
• ACLS is required within three months of hire.
• Mandatory Reporter training for Child and Dependent Adult Abuse is required within six months of hire.
• Specialty practice certification is preferred.
• Must be comfortable operating in a collaborative, shared leadership environment.

Responsibilities

• Provides individualized, high-quality nursing care to patients.
• Uses a team approach to delegate and coordinate patient care.
• Delivers nursing care independently within the Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
• Works rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
• Leads and mentors others within the unit and supports professional development.

Education

BSN preferred

Current Iowa RN license
