Trinity Health MercyOne is seeking an RN III – senior for the Labor and Delivery unit. The role entails delivering high-quality nursing care, leading a small team, and coordinating patient care across admission, transfer, and discharge.

The incumbent will apply nursing process, mentor staff, and uphold Trinity Health/MercyOne mission and values while participating in continuous improvement and evidence-based practice.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing is required.
• Current Iowa RN license is required (or Illinois license if working in IL).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 3 months of hire.
• ACLS required within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care following professional standards.
• Lead a small team and mentor colleagues.
• Participate in multidisciplinary care planning and patient advocacy.
• Maintains compliance with Trinity Health and MercyOne policies.
