Job summary

Fluor Corporation is seeking a Cost Specialist to lead cost engineering activities on major contracts at Piketon, Ohio. You will develop structuring for work, integrate EPC schedules and cost controls, and drive recovery plans when schedules or costs slip.

You’ll analyze PMARs, communicate variances, and coordinate estimates with project teams. The role requires a four-year degree with extensive experience and strong communication with diverse stakeholders, including management, vendors, and

Qualifications

Four-year degree and eight years of related experience, or 12 years if non‑degreed.
Ability to communicate with management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors.
Knowledge of local/state/federal statutes and guidelines.

Responsibilities

Develop Work Breakdown and Project Coding Structures for contract-defined work.
Create integrated EPC schedules/cost control programs.
Recommend solutions or recovery plans for schedule/cost delays.
Develop and analyze the Project Margin Analysis Report (PMAR).
Analyze variances in cost and schedule performance and communicate mitigation plans.
Coordinate estimate development with the Project Estimator.
Perform other duties as assigned.
