Job summary

Pierce Manufacturing, an Oshkosh company, is seeking a Sr. Change Control Specialist to oversee Engineering Change Notices across processes, ensuring timely implementation while minimizing obsolescence and scrap. Role spans collaboration with Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing and Suppliers.

You will drive material implementation, develop QA feedback for CNs, and support NPD transitions. Strong communication and BOM/MRP knowledge are essential to succeed in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree (Preferred) or equivalent experience.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in operations, change management, CN coordination, or bill of material structuring or other relevant areas.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the CN process with Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Suppliers.
• Initiate and oversee introduction of new part numbers and BOMs.
• Develop and implement feedback mechanisms for quality assurance of CNs; train staff on SOPs.
• Approve, disapprove, or reassign tasks in the Reliance Change Management System (RCM).
• Conduct supply and demand analysis to determine material requirements.
• Work with Purchasing and Suppliers to establish cut-in dates for changes.
• Coordinate with Aftermarket to meet inventory and field replacement needs.
• Communicate changes to Manufacturing and Service Center; maintain accurate bills and manuals.
• Support New Product Development (NPD) projects during transitions from old to new product lines.
• Build strong inter-departmental relationships for CN success.
