Job summary

Pow.bio is seeking a Senior Thermal-Hydraulics Engineer in El Segundo, CA to design and implement simulations for the Kaleidos microreactor. This role requires expertise in CFD and thermal FEA modeling and involves collaboration across teams to solve complex engineering challenges.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of industry experience and a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. Compensation ranges from 139.5K to 224.7K, and the role is onsite full-time.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience with STAR-CCM+, Ansys Fluent, or other commercial CFD code.
• Must communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Execute thermal CFD analysis for Kaleidos reactor systems.
• Develop modeling solutions for turbulent flow and heat transfer.
• Build automated workflows to enhance simulation accuracy.
