JB&B seeks a Senior CFD Specialist to advance its CFD practice in New York, leading model development, mentoring staff, managing client relationships, and shaping technical direction within the Built Pillar.

You will apply CFD, building performance insights, and HVAC knowledge to complex projects, delivering high-value guidance to design teams and stakeholders across healthcare, high-rise, and mission-critical environments.

Qualifikationen

• B.S. or M.S. in Mechanical, Aerospace, Civil/Environmental Eng or closely related field.
• 8–10+ years of CFD modeling or building simulation experience.
• Experience in healthcare design, smoke control, contaminant transport, or outdoor airflow.
• Proven track record managing project scope, schedule, budget, and client expectations.

Aufgaben

• Lead CFD model development across healthcare, high-rise, laboratory, and mission-critical environments.
• Model outdoor airflow and contaminant dispersion.
• Own projects end-to-end including scope, schedule, budget, billing, and risk management.
• Mentor junior staff and manage client relationships.
• Lead client meetings, design reviews, and contribute to proposals.
• Shape CFD practice direction, tool selection, and thought leadership.
