Job summary

Orlando Health Physician Associates seeks a Senior Certified Medical Assistant to perform patient care under physician or APP supervision in an ambulatory setting. The role includes leadership to drive quality care and mentoring for professional practice.

The location is 7051 Narcoossee Road, Suite 130, Orlando, FL 32822, with hours Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm. The ideal candidate has CMA certification, BLS, and 3+ years of experience in patient care.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Successful completion of Medical Assistant training from an approved technical school (or verifiable applicable work experience in patient care setting) required.
• Minimum three (3) years as Certified Medical Assistant.
• Maintains current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification.
• Maintains current certification or registry by one of the listed organizations.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient care under supervision of physician or APP in ambulatory setting.
• Leads quality care initiatives and mentors professional practice.
• Assists patients and families with preparation for examination and procedures.
• Enter orders into electronic medical system under provider direction.
• Document patient data, treatments, and education according to policies.
• Coordinate scheduling and specialty testing communications for patients.
