Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Senior Certification Designer to shape data center workforce credentialing through rigorous exam development, psychometric excellence, and data-driven program innovation across AWS’s global Data Center Communities.

Lead cross-functional teams, consult with subject-matter experts, and drive scalable certification ecosystems from blueprint design to credential management while partnering with senior leaders to ensure rigor, reliability, and defensibility of

Qualifications

Masters or terminal degree preferred in related field or demonstrated mastery of job-task analysis methodologies.
Experience applying learning science, educational psychology, and instructional design principles.
Experience developing training programs across multiple sites or regions, with data-driven results.
Demonstrated ability to facilitate SME workshops and produce defensible competencies.

Responsibilities

Design end-to-end certification programs from blueprinting to maintenance.
Facilitate job-task analysis workshops and map competencies to certification blueprints.
Lead item writing workshops with SMEs for high-quality exam items.
Apply psychometric techniques to ensure exam validity and reliability.
Use analytics and feedback to iterate on certification designs and item banks.
Collaborate with senior leaders across Data Center Operations to align strategy.
