Job summary

4LEAF, Inc. is seeking a Senior Planner to lead CEQA review and environmental planning for public agency clients in California. The role includes contributions to current and long-range planning projects, supporting municipal needs across various disciplines.

You will manage CEQA documents, coordinate with experts, and present findings at meetings. The position requires strong writing, project management, and travel to client jurisdictions within California.

Qualifications

• CEQA knowledge and California land use planning practices.
• Strong project management and coordination across multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent technical writing and clear, concise reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead CEQA review from scoping through environmental clearance, including exemptions and EIRs.
• Prepare and review environmental analyses, mitigation measures, findings, and monitoring programs.
• Coordinate with air quality, noise, transportation, biology, and cultural teams.
• Manage project scopes, schedules, budgets, QC, and client/consultant communications.
• Present findings at public meetings and hearings; support land use analyses and long-range planning.
