EMCOR Group is seeking a skilled HVAC technician to maintain and repair central plant equipment, including large chillers and cooling towers, on a full-time on-site basis. The role requires journeyman-level experience, EPA certification, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Journeyman-level work experience (5+ years) and technical schooling.
• Experience with commercial/industrial HVAC systems and central plants.
• EPA certification for refrigerants and systems.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsabilités

• Maintain and repair central plant equipment, including chillers 100 tons and larger, motors, pumps, valves, controls, cooling towers, vane axial fans, and related equipment.
• Overhaul centrifugal chillers when required.
• Provide emergency service calls on a rotating schedule.
• Test, program, start-up and commission equipment.
• Schedule and manage site maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair tasks for chillers and central plants.
• Perform daily and monthly preventive maintenance on all related equipment.
• Ensure safety policies are followed and documentation is completed.
• Coordinate with Chiller Field Supervisor on opportunities or issues.
