Job summary

First Merchants Bank is seeking a Senior Centralized Funding Specialist to support the commercial lending process, reviewing and managing loan documentation, boarding and funding per regulatory requirements. This role can be remote within our footprint, with responsibilities spanning documentation, funding, and process improvement across loan operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of loan administrative or operations experience in commercial loans.
• Bachelor's degree is a plus.
• Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review commercial loan documentation to determine compatibility with the loan system.
• Collaborate with relationship managers, closers and LOB personnel to gather information and resolve documentation, closing, boarding and funding.
• Oversee funding of new and amended loan transactions, ensuring timely disbursement and adherence to conditions.
