Job summary

The Town of Danvers seeks a Part-Time Per Diem Van Driver for the Danvers Senior Center. You will transport passengers safely to sites in Danvers and nearby communities, up to 19 hours per week, Monday–Friday, non-benefited.

Requirements include a high school diploma and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record; CPR/First Aid, wheelchair lift, and safety trainings are beneficial and provided. CORI background check and English fluency are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma and valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.
• CPR, Basic First Aid, Wheelchair Lift and Securement, Disability Awareness, Defensive Driving and Passenger Assistance trainings preferred, not required.
• Training provided; participation in trainings is a job requirement; CORI background check.

Responsibilities

• Transport passengers to designated sites in Danvers and surrounding communities in a timely, safe, and proficient manner.
• Operate vehicle for Danvers Senior Center routes, ensuring safety and compliance with policies.
• Work no more than 19 hours a week, Monday through Friday.
