Job summary

County Aging Services seeks drivers to provide safe transportation for seniors and program clients. You will operate sedans, vans, and trucks, adhering to daily manifests and assisting clients with mobility as needed.

The role requires passing driver training, a valid Utah-accepted license, and a background check with RAP Back enrollment. Drug testing and regular safety checks are part of the job.

Qualifications

• Must pass driver training within two weeks of hire.
• Preference for candidates with prior driving experience.
• Fingerprint background check and RAP Back enrollment required.

Responsibilities

• Provide transportation for customers and goods using assigned vehicles daily.
• Review manifests and adjust directions as needed.
• Transport customers to destinations and assist passengers with mobility needs.
• Ensure passengers wear seat belts and ADA-compliant access is provided.
• Report changes in customer eligibility or health to a supervisor.
• Report safety concerns to appropriate authorities as required.
• Inspect vehicle, fuel, clean and report issues.
• Use software to access daily schedules and client information.
• Inform customers about aging services opportunities.
