Job summary

Area Agency on Aging of Northwest Arkansas in Prairie Grove, AR is seeking an Older Worker-Transport Operator/Custodian for a part-time, on-site role with a starting wage of $11.00 per hour. The position combines driver responsibilities with building cleaning and maintenance tasks at the Senior Center.

You will operate the center vehicle in accordance with traffic laws, keep records, assist in meal deliveries when applicable, manage janitorial supplies, and support safety and health standards.

Qualifications

• Must be 55 years of age or older and a resident of Arkansas.
• Valid Arkansas Driver's License with a clear driving record.
• Ability to attend job-related training as required.
• Must maintain clear driving record and Criminal Record status.

Responsibilities

• Operate vehicle in accordance with all traffic laws; adheres to preventive maintenance guidelines; keeps accurate records.
• Performs cleaning, maintenance and care of the center; maintains proper inventory of janitorial supplies; performs outside maintenance as deemed necessary by CENTER DIRECTOR.
