Job summary

County of Sandoval is seeking a Senior Center Program Coordinator to plan, coordinate, and oversee daily operations of the Sandoval County Senior Center. The role ensures compliance with regulations, client care, and financial responsibilities.

You will plan, direct, and coordinate work of staff, train and motivate personnel, and oversee meals, transportation, and program activities. Minimum qualifications include an associate degree and several years of supervisory experience in senior services

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in a related field plus experience in program supervision, budgeting, and outreach.
• Experience supervising staff and coordinating community health or senior services programs.
• Knowledge of regulations, public relations, and grant procurement or fiscal administration.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and coordinate work of assigned staff; assign tasks, monitor schedules, and evaluate performance.
• Coach, train, and motivate staff; provide feedback and manage employee relations.
• Manage the operation of the Senior Center, ensuring rules, regulations, and laws are met.
• Coordinate transportation for clients to appointments and senior programs.
• Maintain files and logs for client rosters, assessments, transportation, and facilities records.
• Assist volunteers with registration, scheduling, and timesheet completion.
