Job summary

The City of St Marys is seeking an experienced Senior Center Manager to lead programs, coordinate activities, and ensure high‑quality services for seniors.

You will supervise staff and volunteers, manage budgets, oversee transportation and meals, coordinate with vendors, and promote programs through newsletters and social media. This role collaborates with city officials and community partners to expand senior services, plans trips, maintains records, and reports on outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3–5 years of related experience, or equivalent.
• Valid state driver's license.
• First Aid, AED, CPR and ServSafe certifications.
• Knowledge of senior center services and food safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Oversees all Senior Center programs and activities.
• Maintains records and prepares reports.
• Manages transportation for clients.
• Coordinates volunteers and staff scheduling.
• Prepares annual department budget.
