Job summary

Catholic Charities Brooklyn and Queens, Inc. seeks a Program Manager to lead the Older Adult Center's daily operations, ensuring welcoming services and adherence to budget. The role builds strong ties with local health providers and NORC to advance aging in place for seniors.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree with 3 years in Human/Social Services and supervisory experience; Master’s preferred. Bilingual ability is a plus; flexible hours and travel across the five boroughs may be needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required plus 3 years in Human/Social Service and 1 year supervisory experience.
• Master’s Degree preferred in Human Services or related field.
• Strong written & oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day administration and operation of the Older Adult Center.
• Establish liaison with local health providers and community groups to support aging in place.
• Ensure quality programs, services, and lunch per regulations and funding sources.
• Hire, supervise, and evaluate staff; manage food service and safety guidelines.
• Ensure fiscal accountability and adherence to budget.
• Prepare periodic reports to the Director of Field Operations.
• Represent the program in agency and community meetings.
• Travel throughout five boroughs as needed.
