Job summary

Harford County is seeking a Program Coordinator to manage a multipurpose senior activity center across four locations. You will oversee health, educational, recreational, and nutrition activities, coordinate volunteers, and supervise front desk and kitchen staff.

The role requires an AA degree or equivalent and 1–2 years in human services, with a Class C license and strong organizational skills. 35 hours weekly, benefits included, and rotation among centers.

Qualifications

• AA degree in gerontology, psychology, recreation or related field.
• One year of experience in human services.
• High school diploma or GED and two years of experience in human services or in public-facing customer service.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operations of a senior activity center, coordinating health, educational, recreational, and nutrition activities.
• Assist with meal service, publicize classes and events, and help participants register.
• Provide information about programs and services to seniors and the public.
