Job summary

Mission Landscape Companies in the United States is seeking a Landscape Crew Supervisor responsible for overseeing the crew, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency in daily maintenance tasks, with emphasis on cemetery grounds.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience operating tractors and performing light masonry, strong leadership, and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather; a valid driver's license is required and bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of supervisory experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping, cemetery operations, or memorial park environment.
• Experience managing a team of employees.
• Experience working in a cemetery setting preferred.
• Proficient in tractor operation and light equipment use.
• Experience with light masonry work.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate, and direct the daily activities of the crew.
• Assign daily tasks and monitor work quality and productivity.
• Enforce company policies, safety procedures and proper equipment use.
• Address performance issues and provide coaching as needed.
• Operate tractors and other light equipment for ground maintenance.
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure quality workmanship.
• Ensure headstones, monuments, and grave markers are protected during maintenance.
• Operate and maintain landscaping equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers, tractors, etc.).
• Monitor inventory of tools, supplies, and landscaping materials.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, local regulations, and cemetery policies.
• Conduct safety briefings and enforce PPE requirements.
• Address on‑site issues and provide effective problem resolution.
• Promote teamwork and maintain a respectful, professional work environment.
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment. Immediate reporting of unsafe working conditions and/or practices to the Account Manager.
