Ideal candidates have a four-year degree or equivalent, 5+ years cemetery grounds experience, valid driver’s license, strong English, and knowledge of OSHA/EPA regulations, plus teamwork and reliability.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree or equivalent education, training or experience preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years cemetery grounds experience strongly preferred.
• Valid state issued driver’s license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Maintains safe outdoor working environment and ensures OSHA/EPA compliance.
• Oversees cemetery grounds upkeep, site prep for services, and memorial installations.
• Supervises maintenance staff and enforces dress code and professional appearance.
• Documents performance and maintains inventory of equipment and supplies.
• Accounts for overall care of cemetery grounds including chemicals and mulching.
• Performs other duties as assigned and supports team with time management.
