Job summary

Magnum Cementing Services Ltd. in Williston, ND is seeking an experienced Cement Supervisor (CDL A) to manage day-to-day cementing operations on location and at the shop. This safety-sensitive role requires leadership, field experience in oil and gas cementing, and the ability to supervise crews on complex jobs.

Two seniority levels exist: Supervisor 1 for basic remedial work and two-unit capability; Supervisor 2 for complex jobs and mentoring. On-call schedule and outdoor work are involved.

Qualifications

• Valid class 1 (Canada) / class A CDL (U.S.) driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Experience as an oil and gas cementing supervisor and in operating pumpers.
• Demonstrated ability to direct and motivate the work of others.
• Physically capable of lifting heavy objects and working outdoors in all weather.
• Willingness to be on a rotating on-call schedule.

Responsibilities

• Manage and mentor personnel, equipment and materials to ensure on-time arrival at location.
• Execute cementing jobs according to design and client specifications; supervise rigging.
• Ensure efficient day-to-day operations and safety compliance.
• Prepare tickets/reports and verify load tickets; participate in incident reporting.
• Develop client relationships and work with management to improve procedures.
• Lead training and mentoring of supervisors; support MAP program.
