Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a mid-career CEM software developer to join the Skunk Works. You will design, implement, and optimize state‑of‑the‑art CEM algorithms, leveraging HPC environments and DX tools to advance our digital transformation.

You will work across research, development, testing, and deployment, collaborating with teams to deliver scalable solvers, benchmark new components, and document results while maintaining high quality and security standards.

Qualifications

• PhD required in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computational/Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or Physics.
• Strong background in Computational Electromagnetics as a developer.
• Background in Radar Cross Section or EM scattering from complex targets.
• Expertise with MPI and OpenMP parallel programming.
• Proficiency with scientific computing languages, especially Modern Fortran, C, and/or C++.
• Ability to obtain Top Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Research and evaluate current, evolving, and new CEM algorithms.
• Design and implement parallel and scalable software for HPC environments.
• Establish software test requirements and identify root causes of failures.
• Perform testing, verification, validation, and optimization of new CEM code components.
• Benchmark new code components and algorithms.
• Deploy CEM codes to local and HPC environments and ensure proper operation.
