Job summary

AECOM is actively seeking a CEI Senior Inspector to join our Sarasota, FL team, ensuring FDOT-aligned quality and project execution. You will lead field surveying, construction layout, and inspection efforts while mentoring junior staff.

The role requires CTQP credentials, a high school diploma with experience, and a valid driver's license to access sites and offices. Occasional overnight work may be required, with a focus on safety and adherence to standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma plus 4 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
• Valid US Driver's License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices.

Responsibilities

• Performs highly complex technical assignments related to field surveying and construction layout.
• Verifies engineering computations, inspects construction work, and conducts field testing.
• Coordinates and provides guidance to junior inspectors for inspection activities.
• Operates under supervision while exercising independent judgment in daily duties.
• Establishes and manages project timelines to support delivery.
